You add a few reference images

Image search questions
Why not just search my username?
Because the reposts that hurt most often do not use it. Someone downloading your set and putting it on a forum rarely credits you, and aggregator sites strip names deliberately. A name search finds pages that mention you; an image search finds pages that are you. You want both, which is why we run both.
What happens to the reference images I upload?
They are stored so we can match against them, and nothing else. They are not published, not shared, and not used to train anything. You can delete them from your account at any time, and deleting your account removes them with it.
Do you scan for intimate images I have not shared?

Will it find my face on a different body, or a deepfake?
Sometimes, and we would rather be straight about it than promise. Image matching is good at finding your actual photographs republished, which is the bulk of what happens to creators. Synthetic content that merely resembles you is a harder problem and not something any honest service should claim to solve completely.
