At £2,000 a month, the gap between the cheapest and the most expensive option on this list is £4,800 a year. Worth knowing. Not, on its own, worth moving for: your subscribers do not come with you, and a smaller cut of a smaller audience is still a smaller number.

What platform commission actually buys
It is tempting to look at a twenty percent cut as pure loss. It is more useful to look at what it covers: payment processing for a category most banks will not touch, age verification, hosting, chargeback handling, the legal apparatus around adult content, and a discovery mechanism that brings you subscribers you did not find yourself. A platform charging nothing and doing none of that is not obviously the better deal.
The comparison is still worth running, because at a decent income the difference between a fifteen percent cut and a twenty percent one is a real amount of money, and most creators have never actually put a yearly number on it.
Why a lower fee is rarely a reason to move
Your subscribers do not transfer. That is the whole argument in one sentence. A platform taking five percentage points less of an audience you have not built yet is taking five percentage points less of nothing. Creators who move for fees alone routinely find that the smaller platform's smaller audience costs them more than the fee saved.
The situations where moving genuinely makes sense usually have nothing to do with fees: your existing platform has become hostile to your content, payouts have become unreliable, or your audience has already drifted somewhere else and you are following them rather than leading.
The middle path most established creators end up on is being on more than one, with a link hub pointing at all of them. It costs you nothing to exist somewhere, and it means a suspension on one platform is an inconvenience rather than the end of your income.
